Divorce is never pleasant! In almost any case, you will experience financial hardship no matter what agreements you make with
your former spouse. You must also understand that if you have children, you will never be totally free of your former spouse. I hope before you choose to seek a divorce you have first sought
reconciliation through religious or personal counseling. However, if you have decided that a divorce is in your best interest, the D’Antonio Law Firm, P.C. will provide you with complete and
compassionate representation.
If you are looking for a “hired gun” in an attempt to destroy your spouse, there are other attorneys who will assist you. I will not! It
is my experience that pursuing revenge only causes greater emotional and financial damage to you, your spouse and, most importantly, your children. If you want a careful attorney who will ensure
that you and your dependants receive what is just and what the law allows, I would be pleased to guide you through the legal process.
The D’Antonio Law Firm, P.C. can ease the stress of your divorce, custody, or support case in two ways:
First, we will work to get you a fair result. A “fair” result means
that your assets are fairly divided, that support is set at an equitable amount based upon all relevant facts, and that your relationship with your children is preserved. Ideally these results can
be negotiated, but if the other side is unreasonable, we will be tough advocates on your behalf who won't back down.
Second, we will try to keep your legal costs as low as possible by doing
things right the first time and being careful at all times that our process justifies the dollars spent.
If you decide you want to hire us and we accept you as a client, we will advise you of the
initial retainer fee and once it is paid, you have become our client. At that point, we begin to work vigorously on your behalf. Fees and costs will be charged against your retainer balance,
and you will be provided with a monthly statement. If your retainer balance is depleted, you may have to pay an additional retainer. In most divorce, custody, or support cases, the retainer is refundable
if you change your mind, or the balance is refunded if your case settles before your retainer is depleted.
